Work from artists such as Bill Drysdale gives off the beach and coastal aspect of Southern California. This may be one of the more common stereotypes of what Southern California represents to an outsider. Bonnie Lambert is a reserved artist who spreads her creativity and her love for the urban culture through her oil paintings. When it comes to her identity, she never speaks of it. Her art is what resembles who she is. It depicts Southern California buildings, rush hour traffic, quiet neighborhoods, palm trees, power lines and other urban paintings. Her form of art focuses on the Southern California noise and scenery. Just by looking at some of the art you can hear the noise of the busy streets, the murmur of a crowd, beach waves, and the blowing of winds.
